Raffle

We know that many old boys cannot make it to Slummies for the proceedings, but still want to contribute in some way. As the class of 1990 we want to create something that can live beyond a donation from one particular class. Thus, we decided to unveil a raffle, that we hope future classes can leverage, to generate donations in their years. Think of this as creating a living organism for the future.

  • Flights to Cape Town and transfers to and from the Elgin Valley are not included.
  • The prize covers a weekend stay for two adults and two children including all meals.
  • Any additional guests at the prize winner’s expense.
  • The prize winner must make a booking at Old Mac Daddy’s within three months of the prize draw.
  • The prize is transferable.
  • The Prize is subject to availability.

  • The prize winner must collect the prize from Johannesburg or inform The Selborne 1990 Re-union committee for a delivery location in South Africa

  • The prize relates to 24 cases of beer from the South African Breweries Limited.
  • The prize will be delivered in the form of 24 vouchers to be redeemed at between 1 November 2010 and 31 October 2011.
  • The prize winner must collect the prize from Johannesburg or inform The Selborne 1990 Re-union committee of a delivery location in South African
  • The prize is transferable.

Important dates

  1. The raffle will officially start on Wednesday 1 September 2010 and close at 12h00 on Saturday 23 October 2010.
  2. The draw will take place at the Selborne 1990 Reunion Gala Dinner on the evening of Saturday 23 October 2010.
  3. The prize winners will be formally notified by email by Wednesday 27 October 2010 by a representative of the Selborne 1990 Reunion committee.
  4. Where is the money going?
  5. The funds raised by this raffle will go towards furthering the aims of the Old Selbornian Association, a registered not-for-profit organisation.

Tickets and eligibility

  • Tickets are able to be purchased in denominations of GBP5.00, GBP 10.00 and GBP 20.00
  • There is no limitation on the amount of tickets per individual.
  • Anyone can participate.
